**how do u get the answer of (0, 8) and (-1, 10) point slope form**

These **two** points go through THE line segment.

**Point**-**slope** is the general **form** y-y₁=m(x-x₁) for linear equations. It emphasizes the **slope** of the line and a **point** on the line (that is not the y-intercept (From the KhanAcademy Website)

the slope = m = y-y_{1}/x-x_{1 = the slope = often called....Rise/Run....a line Rises (up/down) or Run (left/right) }

_{so in this case m = slope = 10-8/-1-0 = 2/-1 = -2 the slope....a negative value...if you graph this the line goes down and to right.}

The two x and y values REPRESENT points on the line.

so.....in point slope form.....we have.....10-8 = **m** (-1-0)....m is the slope which we computed as -2...Right?
