Animation Shows What Earth Would Look Like if All The Ice Melted

Over the years we have learned that humanity has radically changed planet Earth. If all the ice melted on Earth, it would dramatically reshape the continents of our planet and flood major cities around the world.

Scientists estimate that there are more than 5 million cubic kilometers of ice on Earth.

Many researchers agree that it would take about 5,000 years for all the ice to melt. If this were to happen, it would dramatically reshape the continents of our planet and flood major cities around the world.

All of this was intricately shown by National Geographic in 2013, and that sea levels can rise 216 feet if all of the land ice on our planet melts.

The consequences are terrifying. This would mean that the entire Atlantic coastline could disappear, including Florida and the Gulf Coast.
