According to the World Health Organization, almost 285 million people worldwide have vision problems. For many people around the globe, simply seeing is a struggle. According to the National Eye Institute more than half of all Americans will have cataracts at some point in their life and it is the the leading cause of blindness. But that may soon change because people with vision problems may have new hope.
