Striking photos of the battle between a red squirrel and a
pheasant are captured by the photographer — over some nuts!
I don't think many of you can hardly find an explanation for
fighting over nuts, but think about it this way — what if someone stole your
favourite meal right in front of you?
Should you have fought back? I know someone who will do
that! Many netizens were shocked by a video of a dramatic battle over some nuts
between a red squirrel and a pheasant!
Louise Phillips, 40, from Dunfermline, Fife, who had
photographed the war, had left the squirrels with hazelnuts. Yet, while trying
to get at some bird seeds that had been left out previously, the hungry
pheasant struck.
