Teenager Wins $400,000 For His Brilliant Video Explaining Einstein’s Theory Of Relativity

For the Breakthrough Junior Challenge (BTJC), which allows adolescents between the ages of thirteen and eighteen (13-18) to share their curiosity and passion in math and science with the world, Ryan Chester of North Royalton, Ohio, submitted a video.

Video is at the bottom.

Over 2,000 submissions came from 86 different countries for the competition. Ryan Chester succeeded in seizing the lead and brilliance after being down to one of the final fifteen (15) qualifiers.

Ryan Chester not only wrote the script himself but he also filmed, edited, and created all the visual effects and motion graphics for his video. Generally, he won $400,000, $250,000 of which will add to a scholarship, $50,000 to his best teacher Richard Nestoff and $100,000 for his school to fund a science laboratory. Cool!

I’ll let Ryan explain the extremely complicated but fantastic link between the speed of light and time dilation in his great video below, but all I can say is that you’re going to feel very, very clever after finishing the video.

  1. Thank you for understanding it from complext to lay man term ... We common people understand it very well... Now I need the travel Mars and moon frequently so that I'm look younger but at light speed my body becomes constant in its development so I will be younger for infinite within time of light years mmmm that's is why god energy time doenot have begining nor ending because they are beyon infine ... Mm anyway long live to physics ... I love physics as theory but not physic problem solver .. anyway thank you again
